WHO WE ARE

The Crowley Professional Firefighters Association L-4182 is a local affiliate of the International Association of Firefighters and the Texas State Firefighters Association.  Crowley Professional Firefighters Association consists of the line Firefighters, Officers, Paramedics, and EMT's that work in the stations and on the streets everyday answering the emergency and non-emergency calls from our citizens.  We formed and were chartered April 4th, 2002 by founding members Chris Young, Carlos "Chuck" Martinez, Jason Neagle, Brandon Ferguson, Ron Moren, and Luke Thompson.  We now consist of 26 members.

The members frequently give of their time while giving back to the community.  Crowley Firefighters hold a yearly toy drive during the holidays to give back to our local and surrounding citizens in need, collecting toys and donating them to the Crowley House of Hope.  We hold a breast cancer t-shirt drive in October, when the Department graciously allows us to wear newly designed breast cancer t-shirts on duty.  These are sold and the money is raised to donate to a local breast cancer charity, or a local citizen that we find has suffered from breast cancer.

We are proud of our great relationship with the Fire Department Administration and the City Administration.  We strive to be an active and respected participant in all aspects that involve Fire and EMS decision making. We also remain active with our state association in relation to legislative issues at the state capital in regards to decisions that are made that will affect our safety and well being on the job.  We are here to assist in making sure we keep up to date with the latest in equipment, procedures, safety issues, and training. We look forward to continuing our work in giving back and making a difference in our great city and to our great citizens.  If you have any questions at anytime, please, do not hesitate to contact one of our Executive Board members.

Thank you for taking the time to be involved and truly "in the know" with your Crowley, Texas Firefighters.
